Do you LOVE... the Sonic Boom?

It's not that long since the Valentine's Day has passed, but I think there is still love in the hearts. The scenarios prepared for that big day will surely repeat with flowers and restaurants (some of the lucky ones can say that their schedule has more points to complete), with wine, dinner and bed. Oh yes, and the good old "I love you, babe!", which still works in rare cases.
I say let's forget this day for some time!!! How about doing something with much love towards ourselves… and not a special occasion?!! How about starting with a present for Valentine's Day (if you didn't get one) for ourselves?!! Because no one loves us more than we do!!! And let's start with something small and pleasant. Let's start with an .... alarm clock.
OK, I agree, I overreacted, but hey, an alarm clock is something you start your day with: with turning it off, or setting the snooze mode… or smashing it against the wall, because you just had enough of it.
Anyway, what I am talking about here is the Sonic Boom alarm clock, and I'm sure you've already heard about it. This is an gadget to personalize your living space a bit, to make it look more like you, to give the room a part of you. You might think, this is a tiny thing, a many don't even notice it when they enter the room, but I think small thinks make big things, and they play a crucial role in forming the details, which attract so much attention.
This gadget, the Sonic Boom is an alarm clock in the shape of a heart (in 3D), pink. These are the usual characteristics. However the manufacturer has made a surprise present for all of us... two of them: one smaller and another bigger. The two surprises are actually two main feats, which differentiate the Sonic Boom from the model having these features - Sonic Boom Love.
The small surprise of the gadget is that the electronic dial of the clock has three differently colored numbers, which might give you some push into the long and hard day. I hope they'll wake you up a bit, when you see them (I mean the colored numbers, not the time they're showing - this is the part hate the most).
And the big surprise for use ladies, is a small vibrating thing, resembling an egg (I'll act so as if I don't know what a vibrating egg is). You can put this add-on gadget wherever you want... any place you figure would be the magic spot to wake you up in a matter of seconds. I have already figured mine. I place it under the pillow. I know that if something touches my head, I can't sleep anymore. But you have some other ideas... don't share them with me.
The three colored dial, with all the additions and stuff (I mean the egg too) are already available everywhere on the net. You won't have to give more than $40 for it, but the pleasure caused by it, will exceed this sum (I'm not speaking about the dial). Hurry up and satisfy yourself until the February 14th is there!

Samsung Hauzen - Washing Gadgets Get Pimped!

I remember there was once a movie, where a couple had a wedding upcoming. When the bride wanted to see what her future husband wanted to give her as the wedding present, she exploded... It was a blender. She thought that if he gives her a blender, this means he expects her to spend night and day in the kitchen, what she, obviously, didn't expect from herself.

So now I think, what would the lady say, if her groom would bring her a washing machine? Now this would be a fight with bruises, concussions, blood and fractures. However, there is a very big 'but' in all this thing: all the above mentioned consequences of a fight could avoided if the washing gadget would be a bit different from all the others.

The wash machine I'm trying to present here is one from Samsung, the renowned Korean electronics manufacturer (which was mistakingly called Taiwanese by me, which I'm sorry for). You understand, of course, that I would not even bother writing about it if it were some white, gray or black piece of junk, which can be found just about in every household. No! The Samsung designers... no, there were even no designers from Samsung. The holding contacted a famous designer Andre Kim, who was kindly asked (and everything was sealed with a... check) to pimp the washer. The designer has kindly taken the offer and the work went on.

After some month of hard work, sketches and designs, Andre Kim presented his masterpiece - a tuned-up Hauzen Washing Machine. After Andre Kim has finished, the washer looked something like a royal washing utility, with code lock on the door and electronic sensors all over it. At least this is the impression I've got.

The washer acquired an extravagant look, sporting a festival of paint all over the case, stainless steel ring on its door, gilded finish and, the top of it all, a royal emblem on the door glass.

This is how Samsung is going to attract additional buyers, by exclusively designing the household gadgets. They didn't install additional software, no in-built English-German-Korean-German-English dictionary, no additional mechanism for filtering dirty water to give away chilled pure spring water. They though otherwise. And you know what? I'm glad they did! Cause if they actually pumped it up with additional functions it would end up just as dull as other pumped up gadgets: just staying there in the corner, you only know it exists only on Saturdays and Sundays, when your laundry basket is already too full of everything.

This one here says "Hey, there! Let's do some washing today! Oh, yes! Today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow and every other day! We will wash all night long!" (my imaginations burst out loud) I think now you'd make a tour through the washing corner too, so that your visitors would not only enjoy the view through the window, but would also see what you're washing with.

The new VAIO C Series laptops - The Pink

Spring is step by step closer and closer and people are going to look for something new and exclusive. So I decided to see what's new on the market, which would fit the most refined tastes for the upcoming spring.

As you understand I can't see into all things, as there are too many, so I guess I'll just stick to something I've been looking for myself: a nice girlish laptop. As a matter of fact, I'm looking for a gadget for friend of mine. She's having he birthday in March, so all of us thought we could chip in together and get a nice looking laptop.

And now I'm seeking for some of your advice on a really nice piece I've received from the editor of the www.GetFlashMemory.info site.

So what is this thing? This is a C Series laptop from Sony VAIO. The pretty thing about it is that it comes in a range of various color patterns, and you are free to choose the one for yourself. When I say 'a range of color' I mean something like espresso black, glacier blue, seashell silver, urban gray, blush pink, SPRING green, and on, and on , and on... there are plenty of colors and designs.

Pink laptop from the VAIO C SeriesWell, I personally, thought of something pink (see the photo). I understand that it is not the general embodiment of spring, but it is for me. When I see pink, the spring comes into my soul!

OK, that's enough about pink, pink, pink... let's see what's inside of this gadget: this series of laptops is based on the Intel Core 2 Duo processor (that's tough), a pre-installed Home Premium Edition of the recently announced Windows Vista. The battery of the VAIO C Series mobile gadgets is expected to supply enough energy for up to 4.5 hours of work. The 160 GB hard drive will ensure maximum storage place for all the files I could possibly need (or not need).

Another rather distinctive feature of the C Series is the extra wide and flat screen: the 13.3 '' display is based on some new technology, called XBRITE (it's nothing I've ever heard about, though I like the word 'new' here; and I guess it should mean 'extra bright').

The lights on a pink laptop from VAIO C SeriesTo end the description of my favorite spring gadget, I'd say that the memory is expandable thru the USB port; and if you have any other gadgets using the memory stick (camera, PMP, mobile phone... anything) you'll feel addition comfort, as the C Series have an additional slot for this type of flash cards. It's that easy!

I have come to the part I initially came up with this post: the search for your advice. I know that I haven't given you exact and enough information about the gadget, but I'll ask you anyway: how do you think, is it worth buying a pink C Series laptop? The last piece of info on topic: the starting price of the C Series is of $1,249.99.

Sliding Tabletop for Maximum Kitchen Comfort

Let me tell you story, I've heard from a friend I studied with back in high-school. This guy's name was Dima (or Dmitri, whatever you like) and he was from Russia. He told us that in the mid 90's the life sucked so much that people didn't have a chance to keep their small apartments worm... the central heating was more like central refrigerating and the only room that was really worm was the kitchen. Why the kitchen? Because the mistresses used to turn on the gas oven and heat the kitchen so much, that it felt like tropics in there. And it was something like a tradition to receive the guests of the house in the kitchen and not in the improvised dining-room (you can figure how cold it could be in a room without heating up there in Russia).

ALNO cooking tableSo if you ask me what this story is all about, I can tell you that today the kitchens are not always used in accordance to their primary destination. Today people are used to have their meals in front of a TV screen, at a computer, though of course there are houses, where meals are served in specially equipped rooms.

However, (now I'm there) the ALNO Cooking Table was surely developed just to bring everyone back into the kitchen. The design of this cool kitchen gadget implies comfort and convenience.

The designer of this gadget has issued three main models of the table, which in short could be characterized as walnut/zebrano, bamboo/oak and white/mango. On the other hand, you must fall so much in love with this table so that you could rearrange your whole kitchen, so that the designs match. Now that would be insane... and neat! The main feature of this three variants gadget is that it is very compact (in the 'compact' state); although at the same time it has a sliding tabletop, which will provide your whole family with comfortable place for meal serving.

ALNO cooking tableSo the ALNO Cooking table combines a dual-zone induction cook-top with the sliding tabletop, mentioned above. This way the ALNO table makes it possible all the members of the family to eat and cook at the same table. This is so much fun, gather again together and chat for a long time, while the pan-cakes are getting ready.

Some of my readers might thing that in 21st century kitchen gadgets are no longer in the interest specter of the girls, yet anyways even boys do like kitchen things, so that they could impress us girls. And the question is why we shouldn't be aware of the latest novelties and reviews. I guess we should combine our interest for cool technology gadgets, which unusual things we are bound to like.
