Lock InLock Out
Philips and Swarovski: a team to break every girl's heart. I guess all the geeky girls will fall in love with the latest creations of this team. Philips provides the technology, Swarovski provides the stones so that every girls is satisfied (in other way!). The partners have designed a series of gadgets in two categories: USB keys and Stereo headphones. And all of these chic gadgets constitute one collection called 'Active Crystals'.

The 'Active Crystals' collection is new, it actually is not even available, YET, but I'm sure there gadgets will have <irony>some</irony> fans here and there across the world. But you imagine, that everything which has a combination of letter forming 'Swarovski' in its name, doesn't sound or look cheap... so it's not like every girl could afford herself one (including me!).

The USB keys created by Philips and Swarovski are some unique pieces of technology, no very high though, but very, I mean VERY glamorous and shiny. This is probably the most fashionist way to store you files. They'll be not only safe (they have a security password for read/write functions - didn't expect huh?!), but also comfortable! There are four different types of storage devices: Heart Ware, Heart Beat, Lock In and Lock Out.

As you see the names of the sparkling gadgets have something suggestive in them. The first two have are 1 GB luxury pendants (how many secret letter can that store?) The Lock In and Lock Out can be attached to a keychain and have the same storage ability as the first ones.

The Glamour Gadgets will get on the shop shelves in August and there is not information about their possible price yet. But my guess is you should break all the piggy banks in you house (find the codes to your daddy's safe, would be a good/bad idea too...) and see how much you still lack for buying one of those beauties.

The next series of deluxe gadgets is also part of the 'Active Crystals' collection and a product of Philips and Swarovski collaboration. These are 4 pairs of luxurious headphones.
The gadgets are made of polished metal and are embedded with chic Swarovski stones of different forms and cuts - some of which are navette and baguette.

This small sub-collection is also made of four items. There a three in-ear headphones - Amazone, Icon, Space - and headphones with a ear hook - Mirage. The Amazone version is not just a simple a pair of headphones, but one with noise isolating ear-buds on a necklace and clasp to hold an MP3 player.

All this jewelry is equipped with rubber pads to ensure good grip between the skin and headphones themselves.

The same history is here as with the USB keys: the headphones will be available for sale in August and if you've already broken all the piggy-banks in your house, including your little sister's, to buy a USB key - I'm sorry! I guess you'll have to break into a real bank now!

Tubor Mirror Radiator - Winter's Gone, Warmth is Coming

I know that the winter is now gone and there is probably absolutely no sense in speaking of some warming gadgets, but I'm a sinner and I am sorry, for I just can't let my self not letting you know about this coolest warming gadget I've ever seen.

Tubor Mirror Radiator with yellow backlightYou have probably already checked out the photos and you're thinking "what the hell are you talking about? This doesn't even look close to a radiator or so!" At least, my thoughts were almost the same when I saw this radiator for the first time.

So let's see what this groovy gadget actually is. First of all, it is called Tubor Mirror Radiator. Absolutely nothing uncommon in the name: it's mirrored and it's a radiator. But if you see the thing with your own eyes, the next thing you'd be thinking would be "Next winter it'll warm up my bedroom... or the living room... or AND the living room... or maybe..." And your thoughts will go on and on circling through all the places where the radiator would look cool. It would look cool anywhere, trust me!

Although the winter is over in most places on earth, there are still some cold places and I'm not talking about the North Pole. But even if you don't actually need any warmth right now, I'm sure you'd need a mirror... A girl always needs a mirror. Especially one with a digital clock on it, so you make sure you're half an hour late to your date.

Tubor Mirror Radiator with purple backlightI know there are plenty of mirrors with a small red digital clock but the Tubor Mirror Radiator has added something special to everything in its design... Oh, yes - the design.

Some would think "nothing special, except for the mirror, of course: just block giving warmth". Well, probably! But the backlight, which is also shown on the photos will catch your eye for sure and bring you back to the thoughts about the placement of the gadget. I guess there is hardly something more classy than a slightly lit mirror (my opinion!) This is what you'd have with the Tubor Mirror Radiator.

The gadget comes in two sizes: one a little bigger, and the other... that's right!. You'll decide later which one will be where. It will also fit to the ones, who don't like wasting planets' resources too much, and those who don't care about the resources too much. The Tubor Mirror Radiator can work both on water and electricity. You won't get cold in any winter... plus you'll be watching the mirrored warmth and you'll be seeing your reflection there!

Philips 598 - A Man's Strength with a Woman's Intelligence

The era of cell phones. You can't make a single step without seeing, hearing or thinking something about cell phones. But this is quite reasonable. They're so cute!

Philips 598 Cell PhoneHere's another one: Philips 598. A nice and cute gadget for us, ladies... the ones who love stylish black things. If you look at it, you see a black phone and you think that there are millions of such "black holes' in the world.

However, let me warn you: you'd make a H-U-G-E mistake, if you underestimated it. This phone is actually made for almost exclusively for women.

You know what?! There are many, very many cell phones made for ladies, but you see it at once, that they are for ladies. I mean, their exterior has always something typically... girlish: it's pink, red, having something colorful, flowers, hearts and so on. The List is endless.

But the Philips 598 has a classic black look, but a very girlish mind. Let's take a look here:

  • woman's diary and calendar (don't have an idea what this could mean);
  • a shopping list (how could actually use a cell phone without the shopping list?);
  • a discounts manager (comes as an add-on to the shopping list);
  • personal card info (is it something like the soldiers wear around their necks?);
  • index of your body weight (why don't all the cell phones have this one?);
  • measurements of the basal metabolic level (huh?).

As for some manly features of the gadget, I'd mention the 128MB of internal in-built memory. This would be enough for you to listen to at least one hour of music. If this is too little, consider having a microSD card. The Philips 598 comes with a memory slot, supporting these cards, but only up to 1 GB.

Other features include the 262k color TFT display, measuring 1.8''. The 1.3 megapixel camera will provide you with photos of high quality. As far as I know the best mobile phones' cameras come with Samsung and LG phones (this is my personal opinion though - I think the photos produced are clearer and with less artifacts). The gadget supports JAVA applications and games: you won't get bored in any case with this amount of music and probably a lot of games (don't forget the girlish things mentioned earlier: can't wait to get my hands on that one!!!)

I know some of you disagree that a stylish and a true girl could have a BLACK phone. I'd say that this is only exterior; its interior is purely PINK.
