Apple iPad Tablet Officially Revealed by Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs officially revealed the long awaited Apple tablet device called the iPad. Now that it is amid for us real we can go down for its specs.
Apple iPad tablet is a great web surfing device. Jobs is sure that it can revolutionize the browsing experience and gaming experience. The device features fingerprint-resistant 9.7 inch LED IPS multi-touch (1024 x768) display. It is 0.5 inches thick and weights only 1.5 pounds. The gadget features a 1GHz Apple-built A4 processor and a built-in accelerometer. Due to such features the owner can use the tablet in any direction as it will respond very swiftly.
The tablet can be used as a web browsing and gaming device, but that is not all. Also with the Apple iPad one can watch films and listen the music. With iPad the user can download e-books directly through a new ibook store.
The device carries iPhone, iPod Touch style hardware with orientation sensor and rechargeable Lithium-polymer battery that is claimed to have a ten-hour battery life and a month’s standby charge. There is iTunes software due to which users can purchase music and movies directly to the device.
The gadget has Safari web browser. The iPad provides access to the Apple App store where the user can download apps just like the iPhone.
The device will be available in 16 GB to 64 GB of flash storage with or without 3G. The approximate price is from $499 up to $829.
