Philips Goes Glamorous - Helped by Swarovski

| Lock In | Lock Out |
The 'Active Crystals' collection is new, it actually is not even available, YET, but I'm sure there gadgets will have <irony>some</irony> fans here and there across the world. But you imagine, that everything which has a combination of letter forming 'Swarovski' in its name, doesn't sound or look cheap... so it's not like every girl could afford herself one (including me!).
![]() | ![]() |
| Heartware | Heartbeat |
As you see the names of the sparkling gadgets have something suggestive in them. The first two have are 1 GB luxury pendants (how many secret letter can that store?) The Lock In and Lock Out can be attached to a keychain and have the same storage ability as the first ones.
The Glamour Gadgets will get on the shop shelves in August and there is not information about their possible price yet. But my guess is you should break all the piggy banks in you house (find the codes to your daddy's safe, would be a good/bad idea too...) and see how much you still lack for buying one of those beauties.

| Space | Mirage |
The next series of deluxe gadgets is also part of the 'Active Crystals' collection and a product of Philips and Swarovski collaboration. These are 4 pairs of luxurious headphones.
The gadgets are made of polished metal and are embedded with chic Swarovski stones of different forms and cuts - some of which are navette and baguette.
This small sub-collection is also made of four items. There a three in-ear headphones - Amazone, Icon, Space - and headphones with a ear hook - Mirage. The Amazone version is not just a simple a pair of headphones, but one with noise isolating ear-buds on a necklace and clasp to hold an MP3 player.
All this jewelry is equipped with rubber pads to ensure good grip between the skin and headphones themselves.

The new VAIO C Series laptops - The Pink
Spring is step by step closer and closer and people are going to look for something new and exclusive. So I decided to see what's new on the market, which would fit the most refined tastes for the upcoming spring.
As you understand I can't see into all things, as there are too many, so I guess I'll just stick to something I've been looking for myself: a nice girlish laptop. As a matter of fact, I'm looking for a gadget for friend of mine. She's having he birthday in March, so all of us thought we could chip in together and get a nice looking laptop.
And now I'm seeking for some of your advice on a really nice piece I've received from the editor of the www.GetFlashMemory.info site.
So what is this thing? This is a C Series laptop from Sony VAIO. The pretty thing about it is that it comes in a range of various color patterns, and you are free to choose the one for yourself. When I say 'a range of color' I mean something like espresso black, glacier blue, seashell silver, urban gray, blush pink, SPRING green, and on, and on , and on... there are plenty of colors and designs.
Well, I personally, thought of something pink (see the photo). I understand that it is not the general embodiment of spring, but it is for me. When I see pink, the spring comes into my soul!
OK, that's enough about pink, pink, pink... let's see what's inside of this gadget: this series of laptops is based on the Intel Core 2 Duo processor (that's tough), a pre-installed Home Premium Edition of the recently announced Windows Vista. The battery of the VAIO C Series mobile gadgets is expected to supply enough energy for up to 4.5 hours of work. The 160 GB hard drive will ensure maximum storage place for all the files I could possibly need (or not need).
Another rather distinctive feature of the C Series is the extra wide and flat screen: the 13.3 '' display is based on some new technology, called XBRITE (it's nothing I've ever heard about, though I like the word 'new' here; and I guess it should mean 'extra bright').
To end the description of my favorite spring gadget, I'd say that the memory is expandable thru the USB port; and if you have any other gadgets using the memory stick (camera, PMP, mobile phone... anything) you'll feel addition comfort, as the C Series have an additional slot for this type of flash cards. It's that easy!
I have come to the part I initially came up with this post: the search for your advice. I know that I haven't given you exact and enough information about the gadget, but I'll ask you anyway: how do you think, is it worth buying a pink C Series laptop? The last piece of info on topic: the starting price of the C Series is of $1,249.99.

Apple Keyboard + Apple iPod = ???
I'd like to confess something: I love iPod players!!! With my attitude towards exclusiveness I yielded to the sexiest media player of the beginning of this century. I love everything in it: the design, the color (whatever it is), the navigation buttons, the sound, the... actually just about everything. There is though another thing I love about it: that you can find almost everything made FOR it or LIKE it.
And this week there came out news about a keyboard, made to dock with MY favorite player. The whole thing should have developed very secretly, though apparently some guys from an Apple repair depot have mistakenly replaced some broken Apple keyboards with some new ones, unannounced iPod keyboards. The rumor has it that all the new and TOP SECRET keyboards have been returned to their owner, i.e. Apple, yet some special fans of iPod (ME) are already expecting the novelty to come out and see the light.
Apple is not rushing to give us the Apple iPod keyboard, that's why Razer is probably going to do it soon. You know perhaps that Razer has already made some outstanding designs, which actually looked more attractive than the same products from Apple. That's why some say that Razer will beat Apple on this market of gamers' gadgets.
So back to the keyboard... After Razer has issued an exclusive futuristic mouse, which conquered the palms and mouse pads of the gamers all over the world, it is now going to give to the same gamers' world a new iPod compatible keyboard - the Razer Pro Type keyboard - which will be yet mostly used by the music lovers.
The keyboard has an iPod docking slot, where you can safely place your baby and let it rest in there. It is also equipped with 10 additional keys for easy navigation and administration of the media gadget, some USB ports and a slot for other audio accessories.
The only minus I found in this gadget was that it was too big. I know I can't judge it only looking at the photo, but comparing it with other devices from this series, I would say that it's kind of... ehhhh... oversized. However, after all, it's only my opinion... and nevertheless, I'm going to have it!!!
By the way, if you liked it, I'd say you should also get a Razer keyboard when it comes out and not wait for the one from Apple, because, first of all, it won't happen soon, and second, I don't think you'll spare much money...
So now, we thank those guys from Apple repair shops, who replaced the keyboards, AS NOW WE KNOW THE TRUTH! And I guess, it is not that bitter... this time.

Voyager Pro for Quick and Safe Access
I've been using The Bat mail client ever since its appearance. It's really simple in use and has a pretty pleasant look. I don't have to understand every term used in it or answer hundreds of questions about my e-mails. I just fill in a few fields and that's it! The point is that if you use it smartly, you'll never lose your messages and settings.
I've found out that Ritlabs have also taken care of those people who travel a lot. The Bat! Voyager PRO is a strong powerful instrument for those who are very mobile and who need their information safely stored in a secure place. It's really easy to provу that I'm right, all you have to do is just Buy it Now
The Voyager is a 256 MB USB flash drive. It is an easy-to-use tool for those, who need to set up their mail clients very quickly. This secure flash drive does it itself, so you don't have to change the settings of The Bat on every computer or enter your account name and password every time you change the computer. This gadget has it everything installed: you just set up your mail once and you won't have to do it again - just plug the drive into a USB port on any computer and it is ready for checking your mail.
The plug-and-use thing about this gadget is also related to every setting you make: all the skins, themes and hotkeys will be saved on the drive, so you don't have to set them up all the time.
The powerful encryption system will keep your mail in secret from curious eyes. The drive is also protected from stresses, because they've applied some caching technologies (don't ask me, don't know what it really means...). Anyway, they say you'll be able to use the piece for a long time.
As a matter of fact, this small stylish flash drive has also pre-installed antivirus software. It will protect your mail from malicious programs, which can also harm the system on the computer you're working on.
The most beautiful thing in it is that you can purchase this Voyager PRO right at the moment! All you need is just choose the capacity of your drive and Buy it Now.

Luxurious USB Drives
USB flash drives have become not just a way of transporting info from one point to another, it's become something to be proud of, something you could show to everyone and something you could wear like a piece of jewelry around your neck.
Today you can see not just ridiculous square or stick-shaped drives, but actually any form you can imagine. Everything's possible and acceptable!
However some manufacturers have decided to stand out not with the shape of the USB drive, but with the material it is made of. So they started to use precious metals and stones to decorate the everyday mobile storage.
Silver Pen - USB Flash Drive
If you're already sick of the simple pens and all they can do is just write you could think of something to combine this ridiculous function with another useful. For example a USB pen would be perfect, especially if it's made of pure Sterling silver 925. This little luxury thing could be also complemented with your initials engraved on the pen. This is of course for the most refined of us!
Thus the gadget combines USB storage device, with 2 GBs of storage capacity (that means tons of music to copy!). In addition the pen looks quite beautiful with its shiny silverfish look. This stylish and exclusive pen costs as much as 850 $.
USB Flash with Gold and Crystal
Here's another USB jewel: it is a golden USB key embellished with crystals. It is made to look more precious as the data it is meant to carry. However, the key is not made entirely of gold - it is made of bronze and then gold-plated. The crystal on the case of the drive were made by Statsuma Kiriko a famous Japanese crystal glassmaker. I could also mention the fact that this shiny thing was designed in tribute of the fine Japanese craft industry.
If you are the one to blend with the crowd, you are willing to give almost 750 dollars for an exclusive thing, you should get yourself one of these. With such a gadget-like jewelry piece around your neck everyone will surely notice you.
A Gold Platinum USB Drive from LG
As the last representative of this luxurious group, but of course not the least, there is this LG USB drive. It is made of the most unusual materials - actually it is unusual for USB drives - gold and platinum.
LG has issued the gold and platinum USB Drive, which should satisfy every computer geek in his/her luxurious needs. However, I doubt these drives would be mass produced, because products of platinum are meant for the whole world.
This exclusive LG USB drives is meant for those who find previous two drives too cheap. However, information about its price is still unknown, but the combination of platinum and gold is never the cheapest.
So, if you are on a hunt for something absolutely exceptional consider one of these gadgets for storing information. They are in no case cheap due to their base material, but be sure you'll attract attention with a platinum USB drive around your neck.

Ghost Mouse by Pat Says Now
You know, I'm sick and tired of all those dull computer accessories they produce every year. I understand that they opt for quality rather than for design, but anyway… But people who spend in their cubicles at least 8 hours among all those office appliances are eager to see around some devices originally designed.
Ghost Mouse by Pat Says Now is one of those devices meant to make your office desk "brighter".
Pat Says Now is a Swiss manufacturer of computer mice. They produce lots of original devices meant to add some variety to your office life.

Sharp and its PV200

Looking through our blog I came to the conclusion that it lacks modern high-tech electronic gadgets. In fact, it's not my fault. I'm not going to justify myself, but it's really quite tricky to find something worth speaking about. At the same time, I don't want somebody of strong sex criticize this fact when visiting our site by chance. They think that we are interested in lipsticks, hair-driers, massagers and other girls' stuff only. But I know for sure that geek-girls are interested in everything that deals with gadgets' world. It doesn't matter whether it's an improved lipstick or the last laptop generation.
That's why I'd like to introduce you the PV200 that turned out to be a very popular device.
Sharp is going to begin its deliveries of the PV200 in North America. The producers are sure that this portative wireless device will be popular among Americans because of their sociality. This wonderful gadget gives the opportunity to chat on-line, send messages over MSN, Yahoo! and other messengers, play modern games, listen to music, check e-mail, etc.
It was developed entirely by Sharp and represents a hybrid of blackberry and cell phone. It features TFT LSD display, 1.3-megapixel camera with flash, QWERTY keyboard and other latest technical characteristics. It also includes a scheduler, an address book, MP3 player and everything one can imagine. I think that the PV200 is able to substitute many gadgets, because its possibilities include so many functions, that it's difficult to find something like this.
Frankly speaking, I like it and the most useful thing about this device is its size. I mean that being portative it can be taken anywhere.

Sex Toy PC Case Mod
Sometimes we are astonished where the human fantasy may lead the mind to, especially if all fantasies have sexual character. The usual every day stuff may be turned into an extraordinary sex toy that is able to take you to heaven. For example, do you believe that any PC case can be used in some unusual purposes? I can prove it making you familiar with this nice device for sex toys installation. This case is small and convenient enough for mounting and riding.
The creators made the attempts to collect all the female things that are usually surround a woman and even included 2 vibrators: one rabbit vibe with a beaded shaft and flower-shaped clit vibe at her disposal. Both sex toys are inserted in the special holes of the case made intentionally for this purpose and fixed by silicone sealant. Fantastic invention, isn't it? By the way the control panels are placed on the both sides of the case so the user will be able to touch them and choose the required function without any difficulty. A nice detail that I liked is a cell phone case attached so no important call will be missed! It looks quite funny, because any vibrator is intended to make the user forget everything except pleasure, but there is the other situation with this practical garget that has been designed for pleasure and convenience at the same time!

Finger-Sized Mouse
It's all about miniaturization. This trend became popular several years ago, but now it seems that everybody has got a little bit tired of this. More and more consumers prefer convenience to design. It means that we have our own opinion! And I was happy to discover this! Advertising is not all-powerful and we can make our choice without its influence.
This LG’s Portable Finger-Sized Mouse is the right example of such a device. No doubt, it looks very attractive and stylish. The only button can perform all the functions. But the matter I think about is the comfort of using this portable finger-sized mouse. I think that there is a little problem for female fingers. What about guys? I'm almost sure that they'll find it useless. You know, I've got another idea: it can be useful when traveling. Indeed, mini mouse should take the minimum space. But it will take tame to get accustomed to it.
One should click above for the left and below for the right with a scroll on the right side. In fact, it's not difficult. But everybody knows about force of habit.
So, what can I conclude? I like its design, but I'm unlikely to spend my own money on it. Anyway, if somebody decides to make me a gift, I won't refuse it)
