Philips Goes Glamorous - Helped by Swarovski

| Lock In | Lock Out |
The 'Active Crystals' collection is new, it actually is not even available, YET, but I'm sure there gadgets will have <irony>some</irony> fans here and there across the world. But you imagine, that everything which has a combination of letter forming 'Swarovski' in its name, doesn't sound or look cheap... so it's not like every girl could afford herself one (including me!).

| Heartware | Heartbeat |
As you see the names of the sparkling gadgets have something suggestive in them. The first two have are 1 GB luxury pendants (how many secret letter can that store?) The Lock In and Lock Out can be attached to a keychain and have the same storage ability as the first ones.
The Glamour Gadgets will get on the shop shelves in August and there is not information about their possible price yet. But my guess is you should break all the piggy banks in you house (find the codes to your daddy's safe, would be a good/bad idea too...) and see how much you still lack for buying one of those beauties.

The next series of deluxe gadgets is also part of the 'Active Crystals' collection and a product of Philips and Swarovski collaboration. These are 4 pairs of luxurious headphones.
The gadgets are made of polished metal and are embedded with chic Swarovski stones of different forms and cuts - some of which are navette and baguette.
This small sub-collection is also made of four items. There a three in-ear headphones - Amazone, Icon, Space - and headphones with a ear hook - Mirage. The Amazone version is not just a simple a pair of headphones, but one with noise isolating ear-buds on a necklace and clasp to hold an MP3 player.
All this jewelry is equipped with rubber pads to ensure good grip between the skin and headphones themselves.

Work out programs for you iPod
I'd like to address this post to the girls, who can't imagine their life without their pet and best friend - their iPod. So, girls, when was the last time you left the building WITHOUT the gadget? I think none of this ever happened and it will not happen.
Well, I've got a news for you. If you like to work out sometimes, in front of a TV working out show, you could probably continue reading. If don't work out, drink beer and listen to your favorite music on your favorite iPod... then you'd better start working out!
So there is a company, called PumpOne. This company is a software developer, which develops various programs for different mobile gadgets. This time the folks from PumpOne have noticed the fact I've described earlier: people like working out with their iPods. So they've designed several workout programs to assist these people.
Such workout software will play on any model which has the ability to display color images, this means that it is compatible with iPod Nanos, with Zunes, with smartphones, actually just about everything with a color display and some memory. However, some iPods might need an upgrade, i.e. disposing of it and getting yourself a new one. I'm speaking about iPods produced before 2003.
PumpOne have developed several programs designed to meet the needs of various people. For example, the software includes such programs as PumpedAsanas, PumpedForLife, PumpedForSummer (watch out boys!) and so on. Each of this programs has its own instructions for you, it tips and some visual material. You're free to use everything at your own concern.
PumpOne was developed for a range of specific qualities of your body: strength, endurance, flexibility, weight loss and heart health. What is also impressive here is the fact that the developers have included different trainers for specific program. They believe that the trainer's personality has a very great role when people are receiving their instructions.
At the beginning of this year the company launched a work out service for your mobile. You can freely download the software from the internet. Well, not that freely: it costs some money. But who cares about the money when the stake is the beauty of your body !
If you're already in a rush and can't wait to see a guy with a sexy torso showing you some nice exercise, wait a sec. Just wanted to tell you that you can actually listen to your playlist while exercising. So all you have to do is watch him move and the gadget will play you favorite music.

iPod Compatible Clothes
Happy New Year, everyone! Here we are, at the beginning of a brand new year. This might be another bridge to invention of new technologies and hence, new gadgets too.
So the past year has brought us many, many things, which we liked or disliked, but there is nothing to appear or disappear in vain: we have learned something from our mistakes and have made new useful conclusions. So may the New Year bring you not flawlessness, but only little mistakes, whose consequences you wouldn't even feel. Using the experience of such mistakes you can make big conclusions to avoid big errors.
And what I am going to bring you right now is a new collection of clothes designed for wearing when using an iPod media player. If you ask yourself why for iPod in particular, I would say that I had asked myself the same question when I heard about such clothes.
The first piece of garment is a pair of clothes, but not quite ordinary ones. I started to wonder, what so special is there about these gloves. The thing is that they are made especially for those people, who like working out during the cold seasons and listening to the iPod media player at the same time. The iGloves are designed in such a way, that you don't have to take them off to control your favorite music gadget.
Everything I was able to find out about this warm gizmo is that it is from a famous manufacturer of clothes for extreme sports - Marmot. Another thing I found out is that the fancy material the gloves' shell is made of is called Apex Stretch Fleece NP-850S. I don't know what it really means, but looks cool. There are any sizes available in the range between extra small (XS) and extra large (XL). The model is made in one single color, but a universal one - black.
So this fancy new technology makes it possible to manage your playlist in a cold weather without taking the gloves off and its suggested retail price for US is only $35. I don't think there should be much fuss about getting a pair of these.
Another piece of garment, also meant for having an iPod in it and it is the iPod Controlling Jacket. MY God!!! How many things they have already invented for this thing and they can't even make a break for a second!!!
This rather new thing is meant not just to keep the media gadget in safety, but it is meant to control the player remotely. So this is still a question, whether the iPod or the Jacket controlling it should be called a gadget...
The thing is that the left sleeve has a five button control system, consisting of play/pause button, forward and rewind buttons, and volume up and down button. The jacket has a special pocket for the iPod for a firm holding and it is made of a waterproof material, thus you shouldn't have any problems wearing it and listening to the music during a wet weather.
My thought is that this five button control system lacks two additional buttons Next track and Prev track. You know such situations, when you actually have a playlist with all your favorite songs, but right now you want to hear this particular song and nothing else. So what you do about it? You take the iPod out of the pocket and change the track.
In order to avoid accidental track change the manufacturers have made the buttons to lock after 3 seconds of inactivity. Activation can be done by pressing and holding the forward button for 7 seconds. I think there will be some problems with inactivity thing, but this might be something like that Windows OS: they first make it and then they ask what is wrong with it.

Apple Keyboard + Apple iPod = ???
I'd like to confess something: I love iPod players!!! With my attitude towards exclusiveness I yielded to the sexiest media player of the beginning of this century. I love everything in it: the design, the color (whatever it is), the navigation buttons, the sound, the... actually just about everything. There is though another thing I love about it: that you can find almost everything made FOR it or LIKE it.
And this week there came out news about a keyboard, made to dock with MY favorite player. The whole thing should have developed very secretly, though apparently some guys from an Apple repair depot have mistakenly replaced some broken Apple keyboards with some new ones, unannounced iPod keyboards. The rumor has it that all the new and TOP SECRET keyboards have been returned to their owner, i.e. Apple, yet some special fans of iPod (ME) are already expecting the novelty to come out and see the light.
Apple is not rushing to give us the Apple iPod keyboard, that's why Razer is probably going to do it soon. You know perhaps that Razer has already made some outstanding designs, which actually looked more attractive than the same products from Apple. That's why some say that Razer will beat Apple on this market of gamers' gadgets.
So back to the keyboard... After Razer has issued an exclusive futuristic mouse, which conquered the palms and mouse pads of the gamers all over the world, it is now going to give to the same gamers' world a new iPod compatible keyboard - the Razer Pro Type keyboard - which will be yet mostly used by the music lovers.
The keyboard has an iPod docking slot, where you can safely place your baby and let it rest in there. It is also equipped with 10 additional keys for easy navigation and administration of the media gadget, some USB ports and a slot for other audio accessories.
The only minus I found in this gadget was that it was too big. I know I can't judge it only looking at the photo, but comparing it with other devices from this series, I would say that it's kind of... ehhhh... oversized. However, after all, it's only my opinion... and nevertheless, I'm going to have it!!!
By the way, if you liked it, I'd say you should also get a Razer keyboard when it comes out and not wait for the one from Apple, because, first of all, it won't happen soon, and second, I don't think you'll spare much money...
So now, we thank those guys from Apple repair shops, who replaced the keyboards, AS NOW WE KNOW THE TRUTH! And I guess, it is not that bitter... this time.

QDOS Genesis Portable Speaker for iPod line
This week is quite significant for all iPod addicted. Why? The fact is this week Apple Expo takes place. They've launched a few novelties and made a kind of remake of their old models. Some very cute devices, I must confess. I guess that iPod fans all over the world exult as now we have much more "fetishes" to enjoy!
But today I'd like to tell you about a QDOS. It is a portable sound system designed by Genesis especially for iPod line. It means the system works with all iPods available today (except the iPod Shuffle).
Actually, it rather looks like a soup can or coffee filter than a speaker. The device is four-way sound system comprising 4 x 3 watt speakers. It produces a 360-degree soundfield that is quite enough to enjoy your favourite music either indoors, outdoors or on-the-go.
The device is easy-to-carry, as it measures only 115mm in diameter and 85mm in height when closed and 125mm in height, weighing no more than 0.8kg.

All you need to enjoy 8 hours of high-quality sound is four AA batteries. There is a possibility to power QDOS via AC adapter when you are indoors.
QDOS has a very useful feature- it synchronises the iPod and recharges its battery when docked and running on DC power.
QDOS Genesis portable speaker is available in black and white.
Genesis is available in the UK and France now and its retail price is £ 89.99.
Actually, this one is an absolute must have for all iPod lovers like me, as this gives the possibility to share my favourite music with my friends. Now I can enjoy high-quality sound aloud and not to part with my iPod even when outdoors. A great gadget, indeed!

Skullcandy Cellphone/iPod Headset

I'm a die-hard fan of iPods. To say more, I'm an Ipod addicted girl. I part with my little Ipod Nano only when I sleep or when I lack the possibility to take it with me. I mean those waterpools, bathroom, etc, as I don't really trust those waterproof cases.
My addiction sometimes causes great troubles. As I'm jacked into my iPod almost all the time, I miss a lot of calls. The problem is that I simply do not hear when my cell phone rings. Sometimes I manage to settle this. But even if I do, it's quite inconvenient to get out my earphones every 10-15 minutes. Jamming my cellphone headset into the same ear to pick up the call before it's sent to voice mail is not so pleasant as well.
But thanks Heaven those who design gadgets have invented a nice device for MP3 player lovers like me.
The Skullcandy Cellphone/iPod Headset was designed for the people who do not part with their Mp3 players. It just eliminates this irksome task of switching. Your iPod earphones and your cell phone's headset are replaced with one single smart device.

When there is an incoming call, special controls silence your iPod and you can easily talk. The device features a special microphone that ensures crystal sound of your calls.
So, now I can easily enjoy my favorite music and not to be afraid to miss some important calls. I'll purchase this one, as this headset will for sure save my nerves and make my life much easier and more pleasant.
The Skullcandy Cellphone/iPod Headset is available in earbud format or behind the ear style headphones.
This iPod accessory is an absolute must have for those who are motivated by music, but do not want to miss the calls.

iPod Security Device
Today it's difficult to find a gadget more popular than iPod is. What caused its popularity? Actually, to answer this question means cracking Apple's recipe for success.
Its producers are unlikely to reveal all secrets about the device. In fact it doesn't matter, unless you are going to invent something that can eclipse iPod. I think that there are two things that are really important for any customer: the item's price and quality. If a producer is able to guarantee these two aspects, he becomes a leader.
Anyway, I heard no negative comments from iPod owners. This means that everybody is satisfied with this MP3 player. At the same time I suspect this gadget is a tidbit for those looking for easy money, especially if they turn out to be music lovers. I've already reviewed a lot of MP3 player accessories, but I've never seen something like this.
What am I talking about? It's easy to guess that I'm going to present you Security device for your iPod. Have you ever felt an unexpected fear when unable to find your beloved gadget in your handbag or anywhere else? It's an awful feeling. In such moments you are able to turn over dozens of variants in your mind where it can be.
To prevent this situation Apple has developed its new iPod case that should prevent cases of thefts. The Secure-It Pod Safe is made of PolyCarbon ABS and features digit rotary combination lock. After you lock you iPod you can fasten it to your belt and continue listening to music. I think it's a good solution to keep the device in safe. Unfortunately, it doesn't feature any kind of alarm. Am I severe? May be… But I think you'll change your opinion when somebody tries to rob you of your gadget.

iPod? iBuzz!
Are you looking for multifunctional devices?
Here is a surprise for you. Actually it was a big surprise even for me!
I've never dreamt about something like this. I'm talking about this new designers' brain-child named iBuzz. This gadget was developed to satisfy us in two ways. In fact it combines famous Apple iPod and a sex toy. Music and sex are those things that exist always, I mean since the human kind is on the Earth. These two things for sure bring pleasure to any person in the world. It seems to me that there exists no adult person who hasn't try having sex to music. Such moments are probably the most pleasant during one's life.
You know, people say that it's easy to guess how a person makes love by analyzing what kind of music s/he listens to. They also say that the same conclusion can be made of watching the way one drives a car. For instance, if you are crazy about speed and you like risk, you sex life is the same – risky, hot and exciting. In contrast, if you prefer quite and careful driving, you are likely to proceed the same way in your intimate life. The same thing is when talking about music preferences. Nevertheless, the point is controversial. I'm not going to reveal you what music style I prefer, because it doesn't answer the blog's subjects.
Anyway, I'm glad to discover this gadget. The iBizz's bullet vibrates in time to one's music. You can provoke more intensive vibration by turning the music up. It can be used with other MP3 players as well.
I think it comes very handy when you don't want wake up everybody in your house by putting a loud music on. It should be also convenient when traveling or just staying in a traffic jam.
When writing this review I have even invented a kind of slogan: iBuzz is always with us! (all rights reserved)
