MP3 Pebble Object
High definition technology has come to stay. It is the trend of nowadays – high tech design of our homes, prevalent cold colors, straight lines and tendency to cubism.
I often think that what surrounds us day by day -- makes our lives! Urban living is considered high-style and sophisticated, but we almost forgot about our origin environment. Still, we have already reached the point when we can't cope with the world we live in unless we reach a compromise.
The famous designer Branko Ludovic, probably was thinking of the same when created these beautiful MP3 Pebble Objects. I'd rather say that he is a genius! He found a great solution to my dilemma – nature or comfort. Now I have several pebbles playing some ambient music to complete the design of my "natural" apartment. I guess creating such objects is the first step to make us recollect our origins.
At first I wondered why the designer chose pebbles, but then it made sense! Pebbles are soothing and they have some kind of silent wisdom. They accumulate warm solar energy during the day and refreshing energy in the night. Pebbles store information and pass it through time as every stone is believed to do. They are bearers of memories, they are stelae.
Identically, each natural creation is a unique piece which has its unique meaning! Imagine a world where consumer electronics has the shape, color and flavor of nature? I bet that there would be less stress in this world. Coming home would be a great therapy and would even increase productivity.
Though I'm usually skeptical when it comes to appearance of some innovative gadgets, this one has pleasantly surprised me. Some would probably say that designer's genius could be used in a more interesting way. Could it? I doubt. Being one of the whole army of the MP3 Players this one still differs. It's original design is a sign of virtue. I'd rather use this pebbles MP3 Pebble Objects than a Teddy bear MP3 player or a PEZ MP3 player.
We have detached too much from nature, and I think the nature found a way to come in our homes! Just think about it.

Insignia Media Player with Sennheizer Headsets
So here's what I found: a nice media player from Insignia with a range of sport headsets from Sennheizer. When apart these two gadgets are rather impressive, but when combined, I guess there's much power within.
Insignia NS-DV2G portable media player
So what is an Insignia NS-DV2G media player? It could be mentioned among the good portable devices for listening music and watching short video clips on the small 2.2'' display. Of course it is not big screen for watching "Eragon", because you would miss all the details, but you would enjoy for sure listening to your favorite music.
The audio formats supported by the gadget are MP3 and WMA. This would be rather enough for music playback, as these two are most popular among music lovers. As for video formats, there is a visible shortage here, because the DivX files are marked as "can't touch this". Anyways, the device can store 2 GB of data and it is available at almost $115. I guess it's not that deadly if you think that you get a 2GB media player with a display.
Sennheiser Sport Range Headsets
The current collection of high-endurance was a project which was two years in nmaking and I'm sure the guys from Sennheiser would never fail everyone using their headphones as their favorites.
The Sport Sennheisers are earpieces designed for active people, for those who listen to their favorite music on media players in extreme conditions: be it high-humidity, high or low temperature, which would have a stable grip with the ear and would not fall out under any circumstances. These Sennheisers answer to everything mentioned here and even more.
The present collection is a new direction in style, design and technology, which should fit every energetic person. Speaking of technology, I'd mention the water-resistant earpieces, which will not allow the sweat penetrate the phones and ruin them. The cord at its turn is also a small wonder: it stays soft and flexible even at minus 10 degrees. That's what I call technology!
The credits for the outcome of that 2 years' work should be paid to German designers Susanne Ewert and Markus Hohl. Thanks to these guys the collection has already been awarded with four prestigious IF Design prizes.
So the collection comprises seven various models, having though in common the fact, that all are designed for sports activities, they all are resistant to sweat (I love this feat, that's why I say it so often !!), they are all water-resistant, tough and exclusive, providing crystal clear sound. They are all suitable for using with much about any portable media device, be it an MP3 or a media player, and be it a mobile phone or a gaming system. You name it!
My favorites in this collection are these beauties: Sennheiser MX 70 Sport, Sennheiser MX 75 Sport, Sennheiser MX 70 VC Sport and Sennheiser OMX 70 Sport . These models are all different but at the same time quite the same. If you are going to choose yourself a pair, don't think much. They're all rather impressive form the performance side and from the exclusivity side.

Thanks Mini MP3 Phone for being a Samsung
Samsung, Samsung... I don't know what it can actually mean in Japanese or Taiwanese, and if it means anything whatsoever, but I guess Samsung knows how to conquer a music loving heart. Their new half MP3 Player half mobile phone will become extremely popular both among girls and the other side of the globe's population for sure.
Let's look through its specs and see why I am so sure about the potential of this gadget. First of all, I actually fell in love with the piece when I only saw the photo. It's not to wonder that Samsung gets prizes here and there mostly for their gadgets' designs.
The new Mini MP3 Phone from Samsung has one distinctive feature, which makes it stand out among other similar gadgets. Depending on the current state of the device, whether it is swung close or open, the phono-MP3 player performs a different function. For example, when it is closed - it is an MP3 player, with track title display, showing also the album name, elapsed time and other MP3 player common features. When you swing the gadget open, it reveals to you all the beauty of its keypad for dialing numbers.
With all this variety of multimedia functions the gadget weighs only 73 grams! Isn't this amazing? I mean, ten years ago, when I was already big enough to pronounce "MP3", few had even an idea of what an MP3 player might look like and now Samsung changes AGAIN the idea of a sleek MP3 player, which you will not be ashamed to brag with. The plenty of colors to choose from (black, white, pink, blue and orange) will provide you with the necessary diversity you might need in life.
The storage of the device is 1 gigabyte of data, which means approximately 250 high quality songs of some 3-4 minutes. Oh yes, I forgot to mention... Those wise guys have also stuck a 1.3 megapixel camera into the gadget. I know it's not much of a camera for a modern mobile phone, but think of this correlation: size vs. functionality. It is as small as a box of matches (a bit longer thought), weighs 73 grams and has everything a girl could possibly need in a gadget of this size: a mobile phone, an MP3 player and a decent camera.
And by the by, if you get bored of your everyday playlist, feel free to download music from the internet using the gadgets' podcasting function (don't mind the bill in the end of the month).
I know some might say that every self-respecting brand produces phones having even more functions than the Mini MP3 Phone, but be sure it will be much bigger in size and will be heavier.
Well, I know that the final call is your call and my job is only providing you with the information I find relevant, but believe me, there are hardly gadgets to comply to this standard of miniaturized high-tech entertainment center. When it comes out 'into the wild' the device will firstly find its testing ground in Europe and then will be spreading its influence over the music possessed minds over the rest of the globe.

The Heir of Tamagotchi
Do you remember the little virtual pet Tamagotchi? When people used to wake up in the middle of the night and feed the little baby. This is all in the past. Now we have new generations of these kinds of pets. They don't need to be fed or taken care of, they just need your friendship and a little attention.
The Nabaztag Wi-Fi Smart Rabbit is one of these pets. This is the new generation of toys that help. The bunny is a multifunctional pet, which connects to a computer via Wi-Fi and can do a lot of things, on which you always have spent a lot of time yourself.
This gadget will read your RSS feeds (just show it from where), will forecast the weather or play an MP3 song. Like an old cuckoo clock it will announce the time on top of every hour. If you need some tai chi lessons, it will provide you with the necessary knowledge. If you'd like to know how was this week of living together with the Wi-Fi bunny, it will tell you whether the week was good, worth thinking of, or is one of those, which should be really fast forgotten. Such week recaps are made at the end of each week.
If you are sitting in front of your PC waiting for an e-mail, your virtual pet can easily do this for you: it will announce when an e-mail comes or a friend joins the GoogleTalk.
When there's no one to wake you up in the morning the funky bunny will do it gladly, you just choose your favorite MP3 track and tell the time and this track will be the first thing you hear in the morning. The Nabaztag can also send you to bed, saying some sleepy good night wishes and go to bed itself.
Sometimes the bunny will want to have time for itself – all you will notice will be the changing belly color and the moving ear (because all bunnies move their ears).
In case you are alone and there's no one to talk to in the evening, you might get you one of these gadgets, but better find yourself a girlfriend and don't spend so much time with a roborabbit.

Smart MP3 Player from Sony
Recently I have really become frustrated with the fact that when I want to listen to my MP3, there's always something noisy around. All of you already know that I'm a music addicted person and the thing that helps me out all the time is my MP3 player. But when I'm somewhere in a crowded place, it gets really noisy and I must significantly increase the volume of player, and, you know, that is quite hazardous for my ears.
But what if I tell you that I have found the cure for this kind of frustration? I really did and I want to share it with you. So, here we go.
I have found an MP3 player that has noise - canceling phones. This gadget was created by Sony, who else? NW-S700F Walkman is the company's first player with a special built-in technology of reducing or even canceling the outside noise.
This technologically advanced MP3 player can really fit the bill in various noisy places. I would also like you to take into consideration the fact that this player has a special bass technology. It makes the sound clearer with no distortion. Thus I can hear a clear sound whenever I am and what is mostly important I don't have to pomp up the volume like I did before.
Check out the capacity of NW-S700F Walkman's battery, which is 50 hours. Surely, I won't listen to the music for 2 days. But anyway, isn't 50 hours of non-stop working an impressive number?
Another discovery is that when I'm in a hurry I don't recharge the battery till it's full. The battery can recharge only 3 minutes and then you're ready for another three hours of music.
If, somehow, you got tired of listening to mp3, you can turn on the FM-tuner. Oh, I've forgot to mention about that one, did I? Besides an MP3 player the gadget has a built-in FM tuner which has a function of pre-setting the radio stations that are oftener listened.
The smart player supports Advance Lossless, MP3, AAC, WMA and Linear PCM music files so you won't have any troubles with music management. I really like this feature, since I will surely have no problems downloading the music I need.
For an even greater entertainment this gadget has a display which in its turn has a 3-line color organic electroluminescence. Thus I'm able not only to read the names of the artist, the title of the song and album but I can see the photo of a specific album as well. The colors of the player also suit me well. My player is violet but you probably can find other colors if you look sharp. The capacity of my NW-S700F Walkman is 1 GB and I think it's quite enough for a music addicted person.
Now that I've told you about NW-S700F Walkman, you should get really anxious to have this player yourself.

Hydra- Waterproof Mp3 Playear from Ultra Products
You know, I don't want to be blamed for overly-possessive attitude towards iPods. You've probably mentioned already that I just love them.
That is why today I decided to tell you about a non-iPod MP3 player.
Hydra MP3 player from Ultra Products is designed for those who can hardly live without music and are fond of water. I mean those who like swimming or are a habitué of posh pool parties. So, now you can own an MP3 player that is water resistant. And you don't need any of those waterproof cases or other extra accessories.
You can transfer files in your Hydra via USB by drag 'n dropping. It supports the most popular formats, such as WAV, ACT, WMA and MP3. The player features a nice LCD.
As to gadget's price, it is more than reasonable. A 1 GB version can be purchased for $39.99; a 2 GB Hydra Mp3 player is available for $69.99. You know, sometimes a simple waterproof case for an Mp3 player can actually cost you twice as much.
So, with Hydra you can easily attend those pool parties and not be afraid to dunk it occasionally.
Just do not forget to purchase waterproof earphones for it!

New MP3 player from LG
This new device from LG has attracted my attention by its design. You know, I like things like this one. I've told about female sense of harmony many times. I think that this constant desire to find harmony in stuff that surrounds us, influence our gadgets choice too.
That's why I'm always looking for something unusual. No matter, if it's unique technology or original design. This time, I'd like to recommend you MFFM20. In fact, new MFFM20 is an ordinary MP3 player. I think that it's unisex device. Its design won't spoil any dress style. You can easily wear it both with classical and sport cloths. I don't really understand about its sizes, but a think that it's not bulky. It's not a revolutionary device and doesn't feature any additional new functions. Anyway, I've decided to review it, because I like the way it looks like. They say that it has PlayForSure support for Napster and Fm radio. It comes in two variants: 512MB and 1GB samples. And I'm sure that price differs too. I suppose it's a good solution. One can choose which of them s/he can afford. What else? It has up to 20 hours battery life. But having such a brilliant design, I think it's enough about it.
I think that's all that I can say about this gadget. Nevertheless, I can say nothing about its minuses. That's why I've made a conclusion that it's a good sample of modern high-quality device for modern persons as we are.

Sharp and its PV200

Looking through our blog I came to the conclusion that it lacks modern high-tech electronic gadgets. In fact, it's not my fault. I'm not going to justify myself, but it's really quite tricky to find something worth speaking about. At the same time, I don't want somebody of strong sex criticize this fact when visiting our site by chance. They think that we are interested in lipsticks, hair-driers, massagers and other girls' stuff only. But I know for sure that geek-girls are interested in everything that deals with gadgets' world. It doesn't matter whether it's an improved lipstick or the last laptop generation.
That's why I'd like to introduce you the PV200 that turned out to be a very popular device.
Sharp is going to begin its deliveries of the PV200 in North America. The producers are sure that this portative wireless device will be popular among Americans because of their sociality. This wonderful gadget gives the opportunity to chat on-line, send messages over MSN, Yahoo! and other messengers, play modern games, listen to music, check e-mail, etc.
It was developed entirely by Sharp and represents a hybrid of blackberry and cell phone. It features TFT LSD display, 1.3-megapixel camera with flash, QWERTY keyboard and other latest technical characteristics. It also includes a scheduler, an address book, MP3 player and everything one can imagine. I think that the PV200 is able to substitute many gadgets, because its possibilities include so many functions, that it's difficult to find something like this.
Frankly speaking, I like it and the most useful thing about this device is its size. I mean that being portative it can be taken anywhere.
